I know the T6 was around $450 for 15 minutes. This is 2½-3 hours! $5000? I do have a birthday coming up! my friend went for a ride at sun n' fun... 1k for 30 min I don't think the Lancaster sounds that good... and yes I've heard it in person many times, my friend flies for the museum who has it... he flew their B25 to oshkosh. In fact, like 3 years ago a friend and I were flying in his F33 into an airshow, and we saw this plane converging to the field at the same speed as us, which was odd, we were grounding 180kt... we couldn't figure out what the hell it was. Then as we got closer we realized, that "thing" was the lancaster... he let us go first... obviously
