It appears there is a shoulder harness behind the pilot. I think I would have had that attached.

This guy doesn't seem to have his head property attached why would he bother with a shoulder harness.

This appears to be a training or introductory flight and since the CFI (or PIC) is in the left seat I imagine the latter is true, not the time to be stalling much less spinning the aircraft, I don't care if it was unintentional he should have intentionally avoided that maneuver!

There is no negotiating with gravity or the laws of physics, obey them or you will pay the consequences.

They were lucky this time, proving the old adage the "being lucky is better than being good".

Typical moron. Owns a Mooney and thinks it is a Pitts. Good way to scare off the passengers and have them complain to the masses that GA planes are unsafe.

It's the TYPICAL part that is most unsettling, we need to strive to make this kind of thing ATYPICAL, this fool did not intend to spin the plane and to his credit they did recover but that's like playing Russian Roulette, there are proper aircraft and proper procedures to engage in spin training neither criteria were met in this example.

Topping it all off, the PIC had to know the flight was being videographed! Geez!

Why does he have his hand on the mixture lever on short final?

Preparation for an expected crash?

Looks like to me.. the guy let a incipient stall get away from him. Wing dropped and he added power to recover.. prolly.. he should had let the wing drop in the first place.

And he is being a jockey on the landing. Hear the power come in and out.

I learned how to fly in a Mooney and caused a severe spin with my son the CFII. While he was able to recover they are not pretty at all when spinning

I agree with all of the above posts. I just don't see the point in that crap when you're taking someone up with you.

Was I the only one that was thinking.... "Man, this plane looks like a piper or a cezzna inside." The fit and finish looks very cheap. Not trying to be a hater, just sayin

Guess I've gotten a little spoiled over the years. ;)
