I got to fly the Cessna Mustang this morning!! It is a great airplane with all of the Garmin 1000 bells and whistles. The airplane is easier to manage than my Baron 58P. I wish I could afford one.

OK it's a twin jet, but it can't compete cost wise/performance wise with a king air 90 can it ? a king air 90 is only a little slower but much cheaper ?

nice machine tough... i loved it

Yves,

I have flown both the C90Gti and the Mustang, The purchase money, range and payload w/full fuel are similar for both aircraft. However, the cabin size and comfort of the King Air is wonderful and much superior to the Mustang IMO. The Mustang does have a significant speed advantage and more flexibility with Fls. and a very quiet cabin. If you wanna be a jet jockey the Mustang is a nice little package. I prefer the C90Gti for comfort and its operational flexibility into small unimproved airports.

Read an article on the Embraer Phenom100 recently. While those glossy magazines 'have never met a jet they didn't like', the features on the Phenom sound very attractive (and just like Cessna the company has a history of delivering a solid product).

The tail number for the one I flew was N81WL. I was a bit surprised that the test pilot let me do everything. I was in the left seat and I got to fire it up (easy), taxi, take-off, hand fly for about 80 miles, and land it!

Tushar,

Try the C90Gti, It is probably less demanding than your Baron, and your friends & family will love the cabin. The front office with the Collins Pro Line is'nt bad either.

Jason,

Single pilot operation in the 200/300 series is approved, but requires a second crewmember if you exceed a certain passenger count. ( say 9 passengers on board.. I believe.)
