Let me tell you - if you've never experienced a Bone close overhead in afterburner... well, wow.
They did a fly-by at a Texas game some years ago, and didn't arrive from the direction usually used for fly-bys, and most of us simply weren't watching for them in the right direction. As they got almost overhead, they hit the burners.
It gets you in your inner soul.

There seems to be consensus that using AB is a bad idea unless you're single ship since it will mess up the formation. It's hard to get the timing right in SF because of airspace constraints. As Ben said, the TOT changes all the time because it totally depends on how slow, fast, or otherwise unpredictable the singer is.
