I remember seeing the Thunderscreech when I was a kid. It was on a pedestal display at Meadows Field in Bakersfield. My dad told me it was so loud no one could stand it, so it never went into production. That same XF-84 was relocated in 1999 to the USAF Museum in Dayton, OH, where it is currently on display..
