DoJ filing alleges that Boeing defrauded the Federal Aviation Administration in connection with the agency's evaluation of the Boeing 737 Max.

That’s a very old charge from the MCAS days. It was not pursued because of an agreement arranged after the last crash. The latest indicates that Boeing violated the terms of the agreement and DoJ is filing the charges now as a result.

I won’t hold my breath to see if anything comes of it.
