I’d fly an original Malibu in a heartbeat. RTFM, adhere to the limitations, enjoy.

I’d own one already if it would fit in my hangar. It won’t so I don’t.

Original Malibu was best of all the PA46s. 200kts all day, quiet, smooth and designed to run LOP.

It was so far ahead of its time, and a lot of people who flew it, it had some issues. Similar to MU2, it was not the planes fault!
