No experience with the company you list.
But i have had outstanding experiences with Gift of Wings out of Milwaukee. They’re in hangar B or D at Osh. I have had several custom models made by them. So me with very complex paint schemes. Perfect job. With full cockpits (Pitts Model 12 and L-39) as well as full interior on Cessna 303.
The model will be as precise as the photos you provide. The more, the better. I typically provide the 3-view of the plane and 20-50 photos depending on how much needs customization.
Lead time is long. Prices are reasonable.
I have about 15 of their models and I have given 6 or 7 away as gifts.

Zeke I know the owner of GoW. I've seen these models, but not pulled the trigger. I will be sure to pass along your glowing review.

Maybe not what you’re looking for, but… I’ve had three models crafted over the years by https://www.factorydirectmodels.com/I believe they’re made in the Philippines, and cost/turn-around time are good for me. The quality of the work and detail are excellent. -dan

I get really picky out shape fidelity and outline. Not to mention scale details. That’s where GoW excels. Their models are shaped better.
Specifically, I find their fidelity noticeably better than Factory Direct. FD is faster and a little less money.

Zeke,
I don't doubt you. But...
I have a bunch of FD models of various planes I own or have owned including Beechcraft F33A, A36, Cirrus, Piaggio Avanti II, Decathlon, Waco YMF 5, UBF2, UMF3, YKS 6, UPF7, Fairchild 24, TBM 850, Cessna 120. I have never noted a scale, shape or detail error. Sometimes they've missed a paint detail but they always send photos before shipping the model and have corrected.
I'm anal on detail and I think buying the best is better in the long run. I'm a big fan of FD. But back in seminary I went from Armenian to Calvinist so I can change my mind...
Can you elaborate? Photos would help.
Thanks.
Tony

Tony,
That’s good to hear. My only experience with FD is their display at Osh so my experience is limited.
I’ll try to get some photos on Wed when I’m back in the office.
If things work out next week, I’ll be in the next row over from you in vintage this year…..
Z.
