That there is proof that people drink too much beer hanging out at the hangar after a day of flying and they come up with really funky ideas.

For those unfamiliar with Ercoupe controls, I am sure he meant separate, non interconnected rudder controls instead of OEM rudder/aileron interconnect with no rudder pedals.
