I made it home in my R66 that I've been waiting on for over a year. It was a remarkable 2,000 mile trip that was made easy by an excellent autopilot and air conditioner. This is a big, beautiful country and we should all stop reading the news. I loved my R44 but the 66 is a big improvement with the extra power and baggage compartment. Jet A prices seem to be falling and at 18 GPH, the little Rolls Royce 300 is extremely efficient.

More adventures to follow!

Beautiful paint scheme, this must have been quite the trip. Nothing like a factory-new aircraft. Congrats!

Its attitude control seem wonky based on the pictures. I'd have it looked at.

I've done that trip in an R22, it was amazing, but would have been 10x better with autopilot and AC and more space! Love your tail # as well. Congrats MT!

How does one get 2 digit N number? I saw an FAA owned King Air in a hanger last year with a 2 digit number, and figured it was fed thing.

Either use a time machine or write a five figure check to this guy:

I bought a Lancair that ended up keeping and loving just for the number. It’s a 6 figure check btw!
