My employer (small survey company in Europe) is looking for a PA46 with a camera hatch. These are few and far between with no hope of seeing one with the camera hatch installed on the market, we have found the STC number for the modification and are actively searching for the holder. Last holder was Nayak Aviation Corp. Does anyone know how we can locate the current holder of the STC?
STC No. SA7642SW

Thank you for your help, we appreciate it!
We have found an operator in Canada with a modified Jetprop. I have also heard rumors about a US operator (might be in Colorado?) with a fleet of 3 modified PA46. Does anyone know of a survey operator flying PA46?
In EASA-land, the STC becomes invalid if there is no active holder and the aircraft cannot operate. Is it the same in FAA-land?

No Sir. As long as the STC was installed in legal compliance at the time the aircraft was modified, it is good for the duration of the the airframes life. Simply because the STC owner no longer exists, does not invalidate the original legal installation in the United States.

Thank you, that’s great! It seems like the STC had no takers, the latest date I can find it in a database is in 2011. We will try to find out if anyone holds the rights to the technical documentation and if that’s for sale.
I’ll post any updates to the project here in case it becomes useful to someone else in the future.

I’ll post this in case it is of interest to somebody else, now or in the future.
The STC is held by Aero-graphics Inc. in Utah.
