I saw a video yesterday with the new improvements for the Honda Jet Elite S. Completely out of my league, but I have always liked the Honda airplane. I didn´t see any ground breaking novelties with the S. A few more colors, some avionics updates, and more range or pax carrying capacity.
Rgs,
Patrick.

One of the few airplanes out there with a crosswind limitation vs max demonstrated.

From a flight test article:
“Due to the minimal dihedral and short landing gear, crosswind landings must be made with consideration for the potential of dragging a wingtip. The airplane is limited to no more than 20 knots of crosswind. Above 15 knots it is landed as is a jet with engines in pods beneath the wings: a crabbed approach that is kicked out during the flare. The AFM has specific crosswind landing procedures“
Most airplanes just have a max demonstrated crosswind value, which isn’t a limitation.

Anyone familiar with them? https://www.gojetit.com/There was an article recently on AOPA magazine. Sounds cool. If you are a pilot you can take the rating and they let you fly the plane alongside an experienced captain. That would be a good selling point for me! They also work on flying days, as opposed to hours. I saw one of their planes in Marathon Key coming from Costa Rica. Let us know what you find out. Rgs Patrick

The Red Jet Squadron program is intriguing. Chip please report back what you find with Jet It. It states the hourly rates are $1,600. That doesn’t sound too unreasonable. What are the DOCs on a Hondajet?
