Having never flown with A/T's, I just don't see what I am missing, however I suppose it's one of those things that once you have them...
Single pilot on a complex arrival with many step downs and speed restrictions I suppose I could see the value.

Agree that it is more of a nice to have than necessity for lower powered jets like the Mustang I fly but it is required for Garmin safe return/autoland which I would very much appreciate as the most significant single point of failure when flying my family.
