Came across this on a facebook group. Seems cool... and weird... There's an old for sale ad with a video showing it only going 125 knots at 2000'. Nothing showing off any performance gains from a 450HP turboprop. https://www.aircraft.com/aircraft/30816 ... -amphibianAttachment: Turbine 185.png

I saw the ad a long time ago. Think short field performance with the HP on takeoff, and reverse prop on landing.

That makes sense and crossed my mind, but you'd think they'd show it off in the ad. There's a video of it taxiing away from a dock, and then it cuts to it doing a flyby over the lake.

That looks like it has the same forward visibility as the back seat of a J-3. And a huge lever arm on the big gyroscope up front. Probably quite a handful on the ground, to say nothing of a go-around!
