I find this interesting and useful but think it deserves its own “heading” to keep it all in one place that can be found when needed.

Yes, Airport Talk would seem logical! I always think of Hangar Flying when I see the Plane Talk description

Sure would be useful. You never know when you need to go back and read all the related threads to see if something applies to your situation .
Nowhere else has the same broad base of airport users to pull from.

Thought I'd add a happy note! Our airport manager was against GA. No one knows why but the board called her in and fired her. The position is now held by a husband/wife team who are both GA pilots. We are now having pilot appreciation days. The whole mood of the place has changed. There are plans to build more hangars, t-hangars and a restaurant! Kindly, Ralph KILM

Make that three! When I have some time I'd like to share my 2yr+ ordeal to get to the point I was ready to build a hangar only to be grounded by the build quotes.

Share away, I was just awarded opportunity to build and am actively scouting quotes now, what was the trouble for you? Was this at MQY?
