It depends on what acrobatics the kid intends on flying.
See pages 13-17. The only 150/152s that are allowed to perform classic aerobatics (as opposed to the Chandelles and Lazy 8s that now qualify under the revised definition of aerobatics) are the Aerobats which in that document are identified by the "A" prefix on their model (A152K, etc) The kid sounds like he is trying hard to find a way to do something stupid.

yeah, doing a toilet paper cutting competition with a 150 is a lot like snow skiing in wisconson with only a rope tow. You can only tolerate the uphill climb so many times before decide, it's better to just stay at the bottom and commence drinking.

The Cessna was inverted. Skydiver walking out on the bottom of the wing, poised to leap off into space. Overalls. WHite Bell helmet. clear goggles.
Kid at the controls had a big s-eating grin! 1970's hair floating. You could see the wheel twisted around almost 180.
It was a very kool shot. The N numbers were covered with duct tape, of course.
Lol Those were the days! Not sure if the craziness was to feed the adrenalin fix or the *laughter fix. Either way...

Even though a snap roll is essentially a spin it is not expressively prohibited without the large rudder stop kit. I think that the FAA was asleep at the wheel on that one.
