We had a DC-10 working the fire behind our house three weeks ago. Lots of scooper planes hitting it with water.

Wow! I hadn’t seen it until you mentioned and I zoomed in on my picture. Must get eyes checked! I was looking and didn’t spot it at the time. I was also preoccupied taxiing on the water.

The Navy Colours were applied because there was a deal for it to go to the museum in Pensacola. The deal fell through. Change in government and loss of grants.

They’re both for sale. I suspect they’d like the red one to sell first. There is an expectation the Pensacola will regain funding at some point, so it may be reserved for them?
