Yup. Their website refers to it as a “flying sports car”. I think they may have never actually driven a sports car.

Most SUVs aren't exactly "sports cars" either, maybe the "sport" here is flying.

Yeah, I think that’s a stretch. The “Sport” in SUV originates from its design being conducive to taking you to sporting activities. A “Sportscar” is the source of the sporting itself. They would come across as less disingenuous by just calling it a flying car.
