Peter is developing a hybrid-electric ducted fan twin aircraft called the Raptor NG. This go around it is not pressurized. I wish him the best of luck and look forward to his updates. This, IMHO, deserved it's own thread. This is the original Raptor thread - viewtopic.php?f=49&t=123165This is a YouTube post from about 11 months ago:

I wasn’t participating here on BT when (apparently) this project was being talked about. But, I did watch a few of his videos, and I’ve got to be honest… this guy should not be designing things that can get people killed, or land on somebody’s head.
I formed that opinion well before he was turned down by professional test pilots to fly his poorly executed aircraft design, and before he himself smashed it up, amazingly without killing himself.
Certainly, there are concepts that he used which might be ok, but there wasn’t anything novel. It’s all a rehash of what’s been done before. Any smart team could do something similar, without the drama.
Plus, taking money from people to fund his project is sad.

I have a pair. They work nice. Those fans in your Citation use a few thousand horsepower (each) to make them go ‘round. The Raptor Fan will need several hundred horsepower to have reasonable performance (without getting into single engine or making the back of the napkin math too complicated). That’s a pretty big electric motor(s) and battery pack.
I wish him luck, but you cannæ change the laws of physics... and aerodynamics.
(edit: changed a vowel pair for a diphthong)

Nobody likes pushers tho...
