I had breakfast with an AA B787 Capt. He mentioned that they have more Dreamliner crews dozing for dollars than delivered airframes.

They thought they had a big savings in crew salaries when they went to a two man crew in the wide bodies, and they did, except when going long haul where the two man crew would run out of time. requiring a third crew member. :D Should have left well enough alone, and retained the Flight Engineers. ;)

Edit: Flight Engineers could snooze for dollars with the best of them. :D

Off topic, but I see BA arriving/departing KMSY several times per week direct to/from the UK and it is striking to me how quiet this aircraft is.
