Looks a lot like a cessna 140 to me.

Looks a lot like a Murphy Rebel, with its big doors and slab sides. Depending on what fasteners they use, it could go together like a Zenith 750, which is to say quick and easy, relatively speaking.

The line will be around the block at Oshkosh.

What do you see as the benefits of the 15 over the CC?

It looks a lot like they high wing-ified the RV-14, which is kind of what I expected. With the straight tail, it looks a bit like a baby 180. I bet they sell kits faster than they can produce them.

I wonder if it will be aerobatic, like the others.

Sounds like a 4 banger?

Did you notice it has a stabilator.

Not sure how well that will work out mounted low with a short fuselage and flap downwash.
Helio gets away with it but they fly with the tail very high almost above the wing.

High wing Short deep chord stabilator did not work out well for the Cardinal.

I’d like to see it with inboard slots or something to make the stabilator stall progressive instead of the whole surface at once.

I used to fly a Flight Design CTSW LSA. High wing with low stabilator. With full flaps the stabilator would stall when throttle was pulled back. Well above stall speed but full flaps on approach the stick would suddenly flop back with no pressure to the stop and it would pitch down sharply. If in the landing flare this was a problem. Forward CG it was more pronounced. The wing was not stalled and still making down pitching moment with lift so it was more violent than a normal stall break.

Maybe will be fine but thats why you build prototypes first. Testing...

To me looks like a c-140 forward section, a Murphy rebel fuselage and an RV-9 rudder.

Van's likes the Rotax engines, but I can't get used to their sound, running 5500 RPM into a gear reduction for the prop. A friend has an RV-12 with the Rotax 912, and every time he shuts it down, it sounds like the crankshaft broke and the engine seized. :bugeye: :D

Definitely not a Rotax in the prototype...

I’d almost bet money that it’s the Lycoming Titan.

When we get the shot back into the cabin you can see a white tube running fore and aft on the ceiling. Looks like a manual flap handle.
