According to AIN, "Its six-seat Celera 500L features a laminar-flow design that Otto claims will deliver 4,500-nm range at cruise speeds of 391 knots. The company has not provided more details about the projected performance for the 750L."

Does anybody agree this is possible?

There will soon be a rubber band powered version which will cruise 10,000 nautical miles at Mach 2.0.

The P180 is already pretty much everything the Celera is aerodynamically, and that one takes 1700hp to cruise at the same speed, so chances of this toppig out at the same speed with only 500hp is zero.

That said, I do believe in the project and think they're doing a lot of interesting things. This could be a great, comfortable, long range alternative for many GA airplanes. But it won't do 390kts.

It also won't be cruising at FL 600 as they claim.

Obviously the diesel powered 500L has been long discussed. But now they have announced a stretched 19 passenger version, the 750L, and to which they claim "ZeroAvia will integrate its ZA600 hydrogen-electric powertrain". I shake my head when I read these things because I worked for VisionAire. It was a great concept that didn't rely on unproven technology, but it still didn't make it to the finish line.

There's math for all this. Knowing hp and Cd and few other geometric variables it can all be calculated. 391 KTAS with 500 hp I'm guessing would need a very narrow cabin (think tandem) and a tiny wing. Probably also not meet various stick force gradients and so forth.
