I've got a friend looking at a Cherokee 6 in San Diego. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in that area for a pre-buy? We're on the eastern half of the US.

I have a plane in for a prebuy right now with Ted Hazelwood at SoCal Aircraft Repair at Gillespie. Seems like a solid guy. If you like, I can ask on the PA32 owners' group to see if anyone has Piper-specific recommendations.
