Maybe with carbon nanotube ultra unobtanium* construction the weight can come down even more. * this was already a funny word before that movie with all the blue aliens brought it mainstream

$100k to go 15 minutes
This thing is about as useful as one one of those water-powered jet packs you can use to "fly" tethered to a jet ski
might be a huge amount of fun - but 100k worth ?

You use to fantasize about an inflatable Jane Jetson?
Just kidding of course. It just came across funny on my phone because your comment immediately followed the Jane post.

But seriously, a personal hover bike that lets you cruise down a path through the woods, a path that mere mortals have to walk or pedal a bicycle under their own power, and having the ability to whisk yourself away at will, through any gap in the tree canopy at the flick of the wrist. This is really great stuff! (Pay no attention to the $100k price tag or the probably ~15 minute endurance of the machine... or the hazards of several mature hardwoods in the Endor forest.)
