My brother and I picked up a nice 57 Cessna 172 for his flight training. While tied down at Falcon Field (FFZ) in Arizona it suffered elevator and rudder damage in a wind event. Estimate from repair station says elevator and rudder needs reskin, but their shop estimate will total the plane insurance wise. Yes, we are under-insured on hull value. :duck:

Pictures right themselves once clicked.

Anyone have a lead to give me on a mechanic that can remove the elevators & rudder so I can ship to a reskin shop, then be the reinstall mechanic? Yes, we're also looking for serviceable replacement parts, but if you have a lead on those I'll take that too! Thanks.

Call Chad at Heliponents at FFZ. Not sure he'll save you from totaling the airplane, but he can certainly do the R&R. 480.949.3847. He's local and honest.
