She needs a better looking instructor!!!
You have a gorgeous family and that is a really sweet looking interior! What does the panel look like? I didn't see it in the thread but saw the chatter about the G3 so I suspect the panel will change.
...or you all will end up in a newer SR-22 at some point.

Based on past experiences, insurance for student pilot solos in complex airplanes is prohibitively expensive and as I recall, contained some very serious restrictions.
Have you had any difficulty obtaining insurance for a student to fly this plane?

That is a very, very unusual position for a primary instructor to take. I thought I had seen it all in flight instruction but never run into that before.

I've never flown a 172RG. As they as forgiving to misuse and hard landings as the 172s are?
To me the big advantage of 172s and 152s is that they are pretty immune to ham-fisted students.

Yes, but then she has to solo, do solo XC's etc. You may find it to be a problem to get her coverage to solo that plane.
