Mike C. You need to add Jet Elite to your signature block. Heck you are the father of that tag!

The best part about buying your last plane first, is that you don't have to deal with all this market BS, you don't have to browse controller ads, etc- you just pay for fuel/insurance and fly the paint off it

Jumped from an SR-22 to the 501SP. Absolutely no regrets! I also get sales calls from time to time. Seems to go in waves. The last few weeks I have been getting 2 calls/week. It had been quiet for a couple months before that. Not sure what triggers these waves.

Jetnet is selling your info to companies like that, they are the root of the problem from what I have seen
They are also the aggregator of information that a lot of these broker types use for information and Intel on your plane, jetnet will pull a list of all STC's installed, etc- and aggregate all of the FAA information available for purchase, and then sell access to that info to these entities
Obnoxious eh?

My progression in airplanes and ratings: 1954 Cessna 170B: 1988-1993, private pilot 1966 Piper Comanche 260B: 1993-1999, instrument rating 1974 Cessna T210L: 1999-2008 1975 Mitsubishi Mu2 M model: 2008-2021, commercial pilot 1991 Cessna Citation V: 2020 on, CE-500 type rating Nobody buys an airplane they need, they buy an airplane they can (hopefully) afford. Also, I vow never to buy an airplane I am qualified to fly. If you do, then you didn't make a big enough step. This rule was broken with the T210L and it was sadly not a satisfactory jump in capability. Mike C.

I guess that's when they reach a certain level of maturity and refinement that suits my taste (and budget). Mike C.
