Pilatus PC12: 82
Cirrus SF50: 73
King Air: 62
Phenom 300: 50
Piper Mseries: 43
TBM: 42
Pilatus PC24: 41
Honda: 31
Citation M2: 24
Epic E1000: 7
Phenom 100: 6

The best selling company in this marketplace is Pilatus (123) with three other companies fighting for second: Textron (86), Cirrus (73), and Embraer (56).

I wonder if Honda can make money selling 31 planes per year.

I'm surprised the King Air is still selling so well.

The Phenom 300’s competitor is the CJ4, so the 3+ and 4 should be counted towards Cessna’s totals as well, not just the M2.

Honda doesn't need to make money. 31 planes per year ~ $150M in revenue, plus the parts and service side, on a company with a market cap of $56B. they are different than everyone else because they are building the plane as a "hobby" business. They could sustain a loss for 100 years if they chose (although I'd bet they have a respectable margin).

Are these delivered aircraft or manufactured? I’m finding it hard to believe Honda sold 31 aircraft with so many sitting on ramps. Also given Embraer’s 6 100s, wondering if there’s a 150 or 200 in store.

Honda is in this for the long game. They have a long history of moving slowly and methodically into a new market. I won’t be at all surprised when they enter the flying car market using the lessons learned from bringing the Honda jet to market.

And Honda is apparently working on their next (and presumably bigger) jet, so they seem happy to plow money into this program based on a different view of what makes sense then the margin on aircraft sold. Will be interesting to see what they do …

I'm very impressed that the SF50 is #2 on the list. Given that it is a relative newcomer to the market, and the company only has a single model of a single engine jet to offer, that's pretty amazing.

Only the PC12 outsells it on a single-model basis.
