Got my tailwheel endorsement in a Husky. Great airplane. Nothing like flying stick and rudder, landing and taking off on grass.

Mostly, just because it is IFR certified and it is much easier to maintain a modern panel without concerns about component failures, etc. Plus, it will clean it up substantially and probably allow me to lower the panel height. No direct experience with this, but I've watched several videos of similarly equipped, similar airplanes landing on back country strips with the boxes continually yelling, "Terrain! Pull up! Pull up!" That's got to be a hellofa distraction. Hopefully there's a way to silence that. Congrats on the purchase!

The Aspen can't be inhibited but the alerts go away by the time I am in the pattern.

When the terrain box pops up, you simply tap it and the annunciation cancels. Not a big deal.
