According to the manufacturer's website, Be-200 cruises at 383 knots maximum, 323 knots economical. So if the aerodynamics of the floats are sufficiently optimized, 275 knots should be attainable. Start with a Dornier SeaStar https://dornierseawings.com/products/seastar/

That's a long and painful story but, against all odds, I passed. Same, but my DPE was the best. Next time ask for RAY L. HODGES (FAA DPE); Ray was really cool, same as Don Lee, and even learned lots from him during the checkride. https://www.alaskafloats.com/

I’m guessing it serves in the place of “Instrument Airplane”? I noticed that too. I think it's implied because you can't get an ATP without an instrument rating.
Exactly right.

Congrats on another of life's great accomplishments. Quote: Most useless but fun rating ever No accomplishment is useless. Just think of all the skills you picked up.

In Canada if you do a multi engine after your single engine float rating, you get a Multi engine land & sea. Username Protected wrote: Congrats. I thought my single engine sea was cool!

I thought the most worthless rating was a centerline thrust rating.
