A 275kt seaplane would actually be a very useful airplane for some people.

According to the manufacturer's website, Be-200 cruises at 383 knots maximum, 323 knots economical. So if the aerodynamics of the floats are sufficiently optimized, 275 knots should be attainable.
Start with a Dornier SeaStar

I got my ASES in 2005 up in Talkeetna, AK and it was the most fun I've ever had with my clothes on...except for the FAA check ride, that is. That's a long and painful story but, against all odds, I passed.
Same, but my DPE was the best. Next time ask for RAY L. HODGES (FAA DPE); Ray was really cool, same as Don Lee, and even learned lots from him during the checkride.

Does the ATP multi engine airplane serve as a instrument rating for single engine?

I’m guessing it serves in the place of “Instrument Airplane”?

I noticed that too. I think it's implied because you can't get an ATP without an instrument rating.

Exactly right.

What made you take your clothes off during the check ride?

No accomplishment is useless. Just think of all the skills you picked up.

In Canada if you do a multi engine after your single engine float rating, you get a Multi engine land & sea.

I thought the most worthless rating was a centerline thrust rating.
