There must be a reason nobody (at least I’m not familiar with any) has introduced a fractional model based on legacy or “used” jets and TPs. Sharing a $1.5mm plane would appeal to A LOT of people.

I saw the Avantaero thing … looks interesting and also relatively inexpensive. But it appears to be East Coast-centric (at least as of now). And, of course, you can’t fly the plane(s), just ride in the back.
But agree, the lower capital cost should result in some cost savings. They have a very low monthly fee and live leg pricing too.

I recognize this is an older thread, but with the recent changes at Jet It, I may be able to provide some assistance to anyone who was with them or was thinking about going with their program. While this probably comes across as an advertisement, I mean it more as a lifeline for anyone who was involved with Jet It and is trying to figure out what to do now. I work for Volato Air Charter out of St. Augustine and we have various management and fractional options available. We have grown from a startup to over 35 aircraft with nearly 30 additional on order. We currently have 17 Honda Jets and 4 G280's on order, all available for fractional ownership. If you are a partner in an aircraft that was left high and dry, reach out and I will do what I can to help. Adam Schantz 904.302.2493 adam.schantz@flyvolato.com
