With 2 demo flights under our belt, I ran into the same issues on both occasions - the 5 point harness would cut off the circulation to very important parts of me and I couldn't adjust the seat back enough and reclined enough to be comfortable. Walls and cabinets get in the way. I really like the airplane
Enter the winner: a 2013 Phenom 100.

Same for me in the M2. Cockpit - just didn't fit in it. The 45 minute flight demo was about all I could stand. Sure was nice and sporty and feels eerily comfortable coming from a Columbia 400/TTx, especially the TTx. Congrats on the Phenom!

Congratulations!! The Honda jet didn´t get considered? why? Great question, it came down to price first and support network second. It’s probably one we should have at least taken a demo flight in, but the price was too high and the rumblings of Hondajets sitting on ramps at various airports put us off.

The CJ/M2 cockpit is the primary reason we stay with the Mustang (well the extra $2m might have something to do with it). Others reading this thread should be aware that some M2 have a smaller cabinet behind the pilot which allows for more pilot legroom. Its an option. Most of them have the standard larger cabinet which you experienced.

Congrats! I loved my Phenom 100, flew it all over. Huge step up from the Eclipse I had previously, and even bigger step up from the Meridian. It is also a gateway drug to the Phenom 300 Don't forget to update your profile on PhenomPilots.org from Researcher to Phenom 100 Owner
