 Post subject: D095 MEL LOA to be Discontinued

Received this in our Ops manual revision. FAA will be getting rid of MMEL D095 LOA. Which means you will have to have a custom one approved for your airplane and Get D195 to operate with INOP equipment. We just had two done so we could go to Europe. Was $1050. Had to answer bunch of questions on what equipment airplane has.

That subject brings up fond memories of seeing those little yellow stickers all over the cockpit. Brightened things up a little. :D

Funny, I was just looking into this. Still may apply for D095, because its easy, and that will give us time before we need D195.

The same FAA who already doesn't have enough staffing to care for their duties.

In all seriousness though, I would imagine this is an ICAO change, not the FAA's decision?
