Looking to sell our Cherokee and there seems to be a disparity between Vref valuation's and current listings.
Any suggestions on setting a fair price?
Thanks,
John

Thanks,
John These days? Whatever you think it’s worth list it for 50% more. Then adjust accordingly.

I also think 95k would be very very high.

My thoughts would have been about 1/2 that given the engine time. Granted, the Lycoming O-320 series engines, meticulously maintained, may be able to go another 1000 hours.

That’s not even close to realistic. The plane is worth less than half of that. In my opinion the plane is worth 45K +/- on a good day.

Three years ago, I'd agree with you and think $45k was on the high side. Today... I may not list as high as $95k, but I bet it will sell in a week at $75k.

What are people smoking that has them shelling out that kind of money for an (forgive me, it's nice for what it is) old 140 Cherokee with a high time engine?
If I was walking I wouldn't consider anything near 75AMU for one. 45 is about right for what it is.
