Flew the 31a a total of 3287 miles over the last week.
Such a trouble free time machine.
I still can’t get over the climb rate passing FL350 consistently over 3400ft/min.

Fantastic approach back to SOCAL this evening through the puffy clouds.
Magical sweet spot airplane.

Now for a short cocktail and long night sleep.

It peters off pretty quickly in the 40s down to sub-1000 ft / min generally.
But man down low that sucker goes straight up.

SOCAL CENTER: Rhino1 I see you level at one-one-eleven how long will it take you to get through FL200?

ME (sound of imminent Klacker in the background): "About 37 seconds..."

SOCAL: Rhino1 C&M FL 240 expedite through 200....
32 seconds later "Rhino1 thank you nice work".

Well that's OK I guess, but the 31a doesn't do nearly as good of job as the 20 series Lears do converting Jet-A into noise, and can pass up almost anything but a fuel truck. :D
