My friend Walt Fricke, founder of Veterans Airlift Command, let me fly his Air Cam on amphibs.
What a powerhouse. It flies pretty nice, flies well on one engine, goes on and off the water with ease, and the sweet spot on the step is huge.
What a blast!

I still love the idea of the Aircam on wheels being tail wheel AMEL. I’d love to fly one some day.
