Hi All,

I am finally getting the tiger painted. It was a while back but I saw a pic of a tiger that was painted white with blue starburst type stripes on the side that extended upwards over the vertical stab...anyone know that tiger? can get a pic for me? I can't find it.

Anyway...post pics of your tiger so I can get some ideas of paint schemes!!

Or links to websites with tiger pics...I've googled quite a few already.

Thanks,

-Eric

Make sure you pick a shop that know how to paint a tiger... Lots of bad stories out there from shops destroying a tiger because they did not do their homework, and how to strip correctly those glued up wings.

Scheme Designers seemed to have done N721JF, at least that hints in the direction you want :-)

We‘re using them for the KA and are very happy with the results.

I wish I had a picture of it, but (way, way) back when I was learning to fly in the Grumman Maybelle Fletcher had a gorgeous Tiger painted up in blue like a Corsair.

I had my '77 Tiger repainted earlier this year by Lancaster Aero up in PA. Scheme Designers helped to put the finishing touches on our design and it turned out great.

Here is a picture of the paint on my '74 Traveler and my '67 Bonanza. I would have benefited from working with a scheme designer on my Grumman. There are too many straight lines. Maverick Design finalized the design on my Bo.

This is our old flying club plane. It got repainted about 15 years ago but I wasn't a member of the club. RUMINT is that it's the same paint used on the G-V at one of the finishing facilities that finished G-Vs for customers in Savannah. I saw it twice about 10 years ago and it still looked spotless and amazing!

I'll "play" as well... Here's the Traveler I used to own. Got compliments everywhere I went, and the paint was already 10 years old.
