Sometimes we just need to do something different... With that in mind, I decided to join the ranks of RV9 ownership. So far its been a blast, and 174ktas on 10gph is not bad either!

Beautiful plane!
Love the RV and that looks like a nice one.

Did you go with Jay to pick this up by chance? Yes, Jay went up with me to do a pre buy on the plane and we flew it back.

Expand on that, Ale: Can an expatriate live in Q or SMdA, and keep his N-registered airplane in Mexico? Inquiring minds want to know.

Doug,
Awesome! What is your impression of the ground/TO/landing manners of the “9”?

Alex, I would love to fly it down there, but I just heard from Baja Bush Pilots that Experimental Aircraft are no longer being admitted into Mexico. They are working on a clarification now, hopefully it will get cleared up soon!

The sight picture is so different from anything I have flown before and the controls are so responsive, that I was way behind the plane at first. That quickly went away and I am getting a good handle on it now.
