On another forum I frequent (Photography on the net), this is a picture taken out of a single engine, 8-10 seat commuter aircraft. He didn't know what it was.

I saw a missing bolt or screw missing in the wing structure. Anyone know what aircraft this is?

That was my thought also but I can't find any pictures of the under wing that look like that. I also thought of a Quest Kodiak but came up blank on that one too.

The wing didn't fall off so he arrived safely. I'm just curious more than anything. Little things like this sometimes bug the heck out of me.

someone here will have first hand knowledge rather than basing it off a photo but it looks to match the flap track on the caravan in this picture

Yep, it is looking more like this, thanks! Any thoughts on the "missing" bolt/rivet?

Cessna 207 or 208. Have several “spy planes” in Baltimore with cameras outfitted on them.

The resolution is crap on that photo. What makes you think the screw is missing as opposed to being a shiny silver screw head reflecting light? I’m assuming you are looking at the one more or less in the center of the shot. There is another smaller location up and to the right that is reflecting in a similar way.

In any case, that spot doesn’t look structural to me.

The spot in the middle of the pic is a jig hole in lower part of the flap track. Nothing gets installed there.

That makes the most sense. They should put a plastic plug in it so it doesn't worry the passengers :D
