I think it's generally poor form to piss on someone's new pride and joy. Taste is in the eye of the beholder, and while I'm sure that others share your point of view, were I one of them I'd just do what my grandma told me: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."
Beautiful plane Jeff, congratulations.

If my Baron went upside down I would checkerboard its tail too! I have a 100 hrs on her since the first flight last June and wish my Dad was still alive to see it, but he’s smiling up there sonewhere. Thanks for looking!

Because I don't like the tail paint, I have two choices; be silenced by peer pressure or say what I think and deal with the PC firing-sqaud. After all, it is assumed that because the OP posted it, he wants to show it off and see what people think. Your attempt to be an interwebz bully still does not change my opinion of the tail paint. As I wrote, I like the paint job, but the tail is where I look and shake my head. If you cannot have a conversation about that, I simply feel bad for you. Seems many people today cannot have a conversation anymore without full aileron deflection. Its sad, really.
