I’m not sure that the Pacer market is soft. They’re not as popular as other planes and therefor don’t get the same prices, but one priced right would likely sell quickly. There’s only a few on the market right now.

Agreed. I've been blown away by the high sales prices on pacers recently. Used to be reliably a 20k bird, then a 30k one, and now all bets are off. I think I mentioned an IFR one that sold for 80.

Given there's recently not been more than one or two for sale in the entire USA at the same time, I imagine they're not going to implode in value. Think taking one Exp is best bet for OP. As a plus, they're so hard to handle on the ground that they make great warbird trainers. Luscombes are also great for that.

Aerobatic RV is probably the second best choice if available in price range. Aero is just ... the absolute most fun you can have with pants on.

Curious, how do you take a pacer experimental? Take it apart and put it back together?

Looks like a FSDO chat. Experimental exhibition.

Last I had heard the Feds were cracking down on that, and those they were issuing had some hefty limitations. Definitely not the relative free-for-all EAB is.

Wouldn't the Next Step after a C120 be a C-130 ... ;-) ... ?

Looks like that one sold already which makes sense because it looked like a really good deal. Maybe the OP bought it...

No, wasn’t me. That was a clean airplane thought and I’m not at all surprised how quickly it sold.
