It’s a welcome change from the general theme of the other YouTube build so discussed on this form. Every time I watch I’m learning something new and interesting.

Mike Patey seems to have superhuman energy and drive and a positive attitude that is contagious. His craftsmanship is something to behold. I've built one RV and working on another now, and I know how many hours it takes to build to plan with pre-punched parts. Doing what he does is a few levels higher.
Of course it helps to have the resources he has at hand (CNC machines, massive hangar space, tools, engineering tools, test equipment, etc).
I'm always eagerly awaiting the next video.

The camera just loves some people, and he's at the top. Work ethic is unbelievable, and so is his story. Started a deck building business with his brother at 15, and by 19 they had 200 people working for them! Just his carbon fiber parts fabrication ability would be impressive enough. These shows obviously edit out all the boring stuff. The hangar is so impressive though. Any of this work benches could take a direct nuclear blast.

Ive been really enjoying the videos. He freely shares his construction tips and tricks and they are good. I’ve totally quit watching any normal TV You Tube has the content I’m looking for.
It’s great to have shows like this available to help interest people. If someone shows up a the airport with an interest in aviation I try to give them a “Watch list” just to help them see what is out there for possible areas of aviation to explore.
