Expose the gear pump and use a very large flat head screwdriver to remove the filler cap. Top up the reservoir with https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... r782hf.php or equivalent. These pumps like to act a fool if they are not completely full. If that does not work, I highly suspect the pump needs an overhaul. Classic symptoms.

I’d tee in a pressure gauge so that you can see the actual pressure in the system when the gear is up. If is leaking down, start eliminating components from the system until you fine the leak. It could be the pressure switch is just flakey. It could be the pump is leaking. It could be an actuator. I wouldn’t just assume widget “A” is defective and buy a new one because “that’s usually the problem”. I nearly always assume wrong. And I seem to specialize in the unusual problems. What serial number is the acft?

Bring it up on jacks and then pull pump breaker (or master off). Does the gear start to sag after a few minutes? The only thing that holds it up is pressure.

Ok so probably not the pressure switch. Emergency extension valve would be my guess

There is an internal leak. Disconnect and cap/plug the lines going aft to the main gears. Select up. The nose gear should retract and the pressure switch should shut the pump off as normal. If the pump continues to cycle every second or so, the problem is in the pump or the nose actuator. If it doesn’t cycle, the problem is in the back.
