Hello all,

Just wondering about these airplanes. They look cool and I guess are real performers. The cub like derivatives seem to be far more popular. Why is that so? How are maules for real world use?

The only thing I value in the Maule series of aircraft are that they are 4 place aircraft and a tail dragger.

The closest thing to this would be a C180/C185 to compare apples to apples. The downside is the fuselage is fabric and some earlier models have the fabric wing as well.

All depends on your mission, just like any other aircraft out there.

Hi Patrick
I have owned 2 Maule’s. They are well built, economical to operate; plus they are more affordable and faster than a Cessna 182.
Cheers
