Saw this on our ramp today. Maybe KCDW based?

You don't see them very often. Not many out there.

Great trainer and low cost personal twin. Our airfueld used to have 5 or 6 but down to one complete one now.

Trained for and received my Multi in a Cougar in 2003. Don’t remember any bad habits. Seemed like a pretty decent plane.

I flew one into Punta Gorda about 2 years ago. I was building multi time and befriended a guy that owned one and was building time too. When we landed, the lady controller in the tower came on the radio and asked what kind of plane it was. I quickly replied, "She's a plane that likes young men,........ a Cougar" She laughed and laughed at that one.

Guess I found the reason why Jimmy Johnson's airplane is N480JJ and not N48JJ.

There were something like 189 of them made in Savannah and they are fantastic airplanes to fly. However, I certainly like the TravelAir over the Cougar!

They have a Cougar on the line with Aviation Adventures at KJYO and it's a great plane to fly. I believe they have it down for paint as I haven't seen it on the ramp recently.

My brother has quite a few parts for them - many NOS in case anyone is interested. I picked up what I thought was an oil pan the other day and it is an interior plastic pressing :-)

We've operated one in our flight school since 2006, always looking for parts.

I'm currently needing a landing gear selector lever pn 7FM10712-13, fig 32-19-23 if your brother has stock.
