CV be damned, I bought another airplane... I've been flying occasionally this for Jim Younkin for years, and when he passed, the family said they wanted me to be its next custodian, I was hoping to sell my Cheyenne first, but that's going slow, and while this is probably a poor time to be making extravagant purchases, you sometimes just gotta do it. So I did. This is a DGA-6 replica. Mr Mulligan was built to win and win it did. In '36 it was the only airplane ever to win both the Thompson and Bendix trophies. Jim Younkin with his brother Bob built this replica in the 80s and it is amazing. Think of a lighter Howard DGA-15 with clipped wings and a 600 hp -1340. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr_Mulligan

Three points at 70 mph. With the prop in flat pitch it's not a glider, but in coarse pitch it's pretty good. It does not have the DGA-15 gear. It's very forgiving.
