Would Cirrus put a larger turbine on the SF50? If it had 25% more power it would be a different airplane.

Except it’s not correct. For every Sam Walton there are dozens of Alice Waltons, etc.

I think it is amazing and wonderful that the wealthiest humans on the planet are those who created things used by just about everybody else. You do not have to go too far back in human history to find the wealthiest humans on the planet were those who oppressed and stole their way to wealth.

Our explicit freedom to "pursue Happiness" is what has facilitated the collective improvement of the human condition more that anything else in the last couple of centuries. One doesn't have to be born of high social class or family wealth to achieve amazing results.

I think this conversation belongs firmly in the hot section, so I’ll try to be brief and just say there’s a myth and there’s a reality.

I guess an engine with the same fuel specifics and slightly more thrust doesn’t exist. The cabin is great, with a few hundred pound more thrust and a few hundred more pounds of useful load it would be a much different airplane. Maybe there will be an FJ33-6.

For some reason your posts on this thread remind me of the boy that shot arrows in the forest and then drew a bullseye around them....

We can totally make this happen. We'll just take thrust from the FJ44 and redistribute it to the FJ33.

What is your favorite religion and what don’t you like about other religions?

I thought we agreed we're not going to talk about socialist redistributive programs anymore.

I was kind of hoping that Piper would try its single-engine jet design but it never came to fruition.

I was on the list to purchase a Piper Jet at the introductory price. As I recall it was $2m. Alas it did not happen. I still think it’s one of the prettier designs. It was the right move for Piper to drop the program. I believe it would have bankrupt them.

Over the years, has the definition of "jet" changed?
And suddenly people find a plane which is the "entry point" to a class of aircraft is being sold with low time is evidence that such a plane was poorly designed?
If so, then the PA-46 line of aircraft and also TBMs should never have stayed in production.
