Anyone know where they are on the wing spar inspections for some/all PA-28 due to the Embry-Riddle Arrow accident? Has the FAA ruled yet?

I just sold a Dakota PA-28-236. I wondered if it would be covered. Really surprised the SB just covers the Arrow & not other Cherokees. Wonder if the FAA will issue an AD? My understanding is SB's are not mandatory, just suggested.

They’re just going to target a narrow segment of the population until the next crash.

Higher gross weight and longer wing than the Cherokee 235 it was derived from. It's listed as the only exception here: https://www.piperflyer.org/maintenance- ... -know.html
