Some amazing creativity from those flat earthers. It takes a lot of imagination to come up with "explanations" for their theory that mesh with observable phenomena. Kind of like the elaborate geocentric models of the solar system that "explained" retrograde rotation of the planets. Never mind the orbital behavior of satellites and spacecraft, or the use of spherical trigonometry to program GPS units, which would cause interesting behavior over a truly flat surface, those are all "fake".

It's really impressive to see the lengths to which they will go to avoid a simple reality that's been proven for over 2000 years.
